Review: Waterloo Grape

I wanted to start my reviews off with what I would consider the best water on the market, Waterloo Grape. This was the first flavor that showed me just how good sparkling water can be. Prior to having it, I enjoyed sparkling water but thought of the flavor as mostly passable. Thus, you could say that in a small way, this water changed my life.

Flavor Intensity

Immediately upon taking a sip, you get hit by a strong grape flavor. It has a subtle sweetness and fades quickly, but each sip has a clear and intense flavor. It’s amazing how an unsweetened beverage can seem to be sweet, but Waterloo has managed to create a masterpiece.

Score: 8.1/10

Flavor Accuracy

After tasting real grapes, the waterloo is lacking in quite a bit of acidity and has a more candy like flavor. It seems to me to be more reminiscent of grape soda. It certainly is clearly a grape flavor, but the flavor is more inspired by grapes than actually attempting to reproduce the flavor.

Score 6.2/10

Bubbles

The bubbles are plentiful and obvious throughout a sip. The sensation lingers for a good while after you finish, and is quite pleasant. The bubbles are small and very pleasant.

Score: 8.5/10

Overall

While not being very accurate to actual grapes, the flavor is strong and very enjoyable. If you are a fan of grape soda, you will love this water. It is the best water that I’ve ever had, and it deserves an extremely high score!
